Hi,
Regarding questions for the upcoming show.
QUESTION 1- Could you ask about whether the designers feel it is possible to implement web 2.0 style buttons but using dynamic text and a CSS/XHTML approach? That is via using a technique like CSS sliding doors with the button image pieces.
I’ve tried this but it seems quite difficult in CSS to get the text aligned well with the image pieces, and then resizing TEXT &/or resizing browser size seems to add its own challenge.
QUESTION 2 - If the above is not recommended what do they suggest for web 2.0 style buttons (rounded corners, gradients etc) but which programmatically have dynamic text? i.e. for ease in changing of text, re-use for internationalized sites, i.e. don’t have to keep producing separate images with the specific text each time.
Thanks
Greg
