Bamboo {8}
ideation principles

Grab the MP3 file

duration 26:20

In issue#8 we speak with Tracy Thirion, founder of Bamboo Worldwide, on the subject of Advanced Ideation Principles and Brainstorming. One of the many things we learn is the fact that the Creative Director isn’t necessarily the most creative expert {Xpert} in your herd.

Tracy suggests the following:

Purple Cow by Seth Godin
More Lightning, Less Thunder by Bob Eckert and Jonathan Vehar
Optimize The Magic of Your Mind by Sidney Parnes
How To Have Kick Ass Ideas by Chris Barez Brown
Moderating to the Max by Jean Bystedt, Siri Lynn and Deborah Potts

The conference that I highly recommend is the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI), as well as checking out their parent organization for local events: Creative Education Foundation | www.cpsiconference.com
Additionally SUNY Buffalo has a Masters program in Creativity that is highly targeted!

Masthead Mashup

Get creative with your bad self!

That’s right - we want you to redesign our masthead!
This isn’t a contest. You’re all winners. We’d like to get as many submissions as possible which will become a great revolving collection, and thought you would want to submit yours. Your identity/branding will be visible in the image, so it’s like a HUGE banner ad. So, if you want: remix the logo, or whatever…

NOTE: The placement of the logo within the image doesn’t matter.
